April, 2008 Inducted into USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame & selected as the Grandmaster Of The Year Award.
April 12-13, 2008 - Head Coach for TEAM USA at the World Cup Pankration & Martial Arts Championships held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay , WI . US Pankration Team won the Gold Medal . In addition, 19 Martial Arts America-Greendale members of Team USA also won a total of 9 - Gold Medals, 14 - Silvers, 9 - Bronzes and 4 - Fourth Places .
As the HEAD COACH for Team USA at the World Cup Martial Arts & Pankration Championships held in Mirandela , Portugal in November 2007, his MAA Students won 23 Gold, 15 Silver and 3 Bronze Medals
As the HEAD COACH for the 2007 US Pankration Team , he led the team in the 2007 FILA World Pankration Championships in Antalya , Turkey to 2 Gold Medals, 5 Silvers and 1 Bronze.
On January 20, 2007, Master Serrano's Martial Arts America was awarded the very distinguished Business of the Year by the HCCW of WI at the Midwest Express Center in Milwaukee, WI.
On August 26 & 27, 2006, Master Serrano won the SILVER MEDAL as the Men's Heavyweight Fighter for the US Pankration Team at the 2006 Pankration World Championships held in Thessaloniki, Greece. Master Serrano, the Head Coach of the US Team, led the team, which included 9 other Martial Arts America Black Belts, to an unprecedented 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals at the World Championships.
July 2-9, 2006, Master Serrano won a Gold Medal/ World Championship at the 2006 WEKAF Escrima World Championships held in Orlando Florida. In addition, Master Serrano had 16 other students compete as members of the US Escrima Team and they brought home an additional 8 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals for the US Escrima Team!
On April 16 & 17, 2005, Master Serrano was inducted into the HKA Hall of Fame at the Lambeau Field Tournament of Champions.
On September 25, 2004, Master Serrano was inducted into the Legion of Honor Hall of Fame Society. Other past inductees include legends such as Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Funio Demura, Jeff Smith, Benny "The Jet" Urquidez, Jhoon Rhee, Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, Ed Parker.
On September 7, 2003, Master Serrano took the SILVER MEDAL in the MEN's -100 Kilo Fighting Division at the Pankration World Championships held in Greece and was the UNITED STATES TEAM CHIEF COACH.
On January 18, 2003, Master Serrano was inducted into the ACTION MARTIAL ARTS HALL OF FAME at the Annual Awards Banquet held in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
On November 9, 2002, Master Serrano took the GOLD MEDAL in Men's Heavyweight Fighting as a member of Team USA in Perth, Scotland. Mr. Serrano also won a Bronze Medal as a member of the 10-person US Team in the Team FightIng Competition. In addition, his students brought home 3 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, 5 Bronze Medals and a Fourth Place in Scotland as part of the US Team.
Inducted into American Karate Association Hall of Fame in 2002
July 4th, 2002, Master Serrano took the Bronze Medal in Full Contact Stick Fighting at the WEKAF Escrima World Championships held in London, England
In November 2001, at the 2001 Pan-American Marital Arts & Pankration Games, Master Serrano brought home for the US Team a GOLD Medal for the Men's Heavyweight Pankration Fighting Division, 2nd Place in Heavyweight Karate Fighting, a 3rd Place in Men's Black Belt Forms and a 4th Place in Black Belt Weapons.
In addition, his students brought home 9 GOLD Medals, including the Pan-American Team fighting Championship, 10 SILVER Medals, and 4 BRONZE Medals at the same Pan-American Games representing the United States.
Master Serrano also received Special 2001 Pan-American Recognition for his efforts as a member of the International Referrees Committee.
In June 2001, named one of the TOP 200 SCHOOLS IN THE WORLD by Martial Arts Business Magazine!
In 2000, Mr. Serrano and his students won 12 Gold Medals, 15 Silver, and 9 Bronze medals in International Competition outside the United States in the year 2000 representing the United States.

Member of the 1980 National Champion United States Air Force Academy Karate Team.
Has won numerous championships in Weapons, Forms and Fighting at the State, Regional, National and International levels in Forms, Weapons and Fighting competition.
Performed numerous Martial Arts Demonstrations on Cable TV, at Summerfest Grounds, Wisconsin State Fair, and numerous other festivals, kickboxing shows, and events.
